What makes A Mother's Touch childbirth classes different?

A Mother's Touch birth services is led by a birth doula with 25 years of experience in Labor/Delivery and postpartum as an RN. In addition, I have attended a DONA international training workshop for birth doulas and ICEA training for childbirth education

There may be cheaper options: however, I offer the full 12 hours of education recommended by Lamaze International.

What specific topics or skills do you cover in your childbirth classes that make them stand out?

I base my content on Healthy Birth Practices (Lamaze International) and the W.H.O. safe birth practice guidelines.

When should I take childbirth classes?

Early third trimester (30-34 weeks) is the ideal time to find and attend a childbirth preparation class. this timing gives you the opportunity to learn and practice comfort techniques prior to your birth.

What's the difference between you and hospital provided classes?

Hospital classes are usually offered free of charge for those planning on giving birth in their facility. They focus on what the process of giving birth in their facility looks like. I focus mainly on informed choices and comfort measures that apply to any birth no matter the location.
