Affordable childbirth education

I offer comprehensive prenatal education for the first time parent as well as refresher courses for those who need a review. All of this can be included in a comprehensive doula package or as a stand alone service.

Practical Activities for Labor

Squatting

I can show you different squatting methods that are proven to open the pelvic inlet and promote fetal descent.

Birthing Ball

There are many activities and positions using a birthing ball to promote comfort during all stages of labor. I can help you find the ones that work for you.

Push Smarter not Harder

I can teach you how to follow your bodies natural urge to push and assist you with the optimal positions designed to make the pushing stage shorter and reduce trauma.

Massage and Counterpressure

Massage, acupressure and counterpressure can be very helpful to ease pain and anxiety. This is one activity at which your birth partner can excel! I can teach you both some techniques and recommend resources so you can learn even more on your own.
